We are proud of our city and our rich heritage. In exploring our past you will find in McComb, a black history gallery and a railroad museum. Traveling through Mississippi on the "Mississippi Blues Trail" or the "Mississippi Freedom Trail" will lead you to McComb City. From our beginnings as a railroad town, we have now grown to become a city with a very diverse and growing economy that also serves as a regional hub offering quality healthcare and retail trade stores.
The State of Mississippi is recognized nationwide as a great state to retire, and the state has designated McComb City as one of its "Certified Retirement Cities" in the southern part of Mississippi.
